No, that's a pretty fair picture of him. He always was the one set
in opposition for the sake of the Democrats. That's what he was
good for. I think the current rumor is Ronald Rice (D-NJ) or Chris
Dodd (D-Conn) as the probable candidates to take Daschles place.

Yeah, Cheney said he will not run in 2008, but you never know. A friend
and I earlier today were talking about it. I would be surprised to see a
ticket
of Al Gore (P)/Hilary Clinton (VP) against John McCain (P)/Elizabeth Dole
(VP).
As for Guiliani I just don't see him being taken seriously enough. That many
years removed from 9/11 and with his ultra conservative views I can't take
him as a serious contender. I still won't be surprised to see a
constitutional
ammendment to allow Arnold run and have a repeat of Reaganomics.

I just don't like the fact that you can have an elected president that the
people
didn't elect in all fariness. It cheapens the actual voting process too much
IMO.
