Ok, I got Doom 3 and all I can say for it is
that I paid $50 for a tech demo. Ambiance
in the game is top notch and the graphics are
quite drool worthy. Other than that the game
fellates goats at an incredible level of skill. The
sounds are pathetic, the level designs are crap,
and the enemies are simply just fucking cheap.
Not to mention how retarded the absolute
darkness is in the game. The flashlight wasn't
very fun in Silent Hill and Alone in the Dark,
but it's even freaking worse in D3 since you
can't have it out while you have a weapon in hand.

Thankfully someone made a duct tape mod
that put a flashlight on ever weapon. If it
hadn't been for that mod I would have quit
after about an hour in the game. Hell, you even
have to download the Reznor sounds mod if
you want the weapons and enemies to sound
worth a shit. Grrr.....

Several of the bosses and normal enemies can
simply just one hit kill you. It's pretty fucking
annoying. Cyberdemon is just simply gay. I
beat the game and now I feel good that I sold
the piece of shit to a friend and made $30 of
my money back. I feel bad for him, but at least
he saved $20 on buying it. :-p

I just finished downloading the reworked game
Counter Strike: Source on Steam so I think I'll
go try it out. I wish Half-Life 2 would fucking
hurry up and come out. If Valve can get it's dick
out of Vivendi's ass maybe they'll approve a
gold build. BAH!
