Yeah, its completely off topic, but I thought it might be of interest to people. 
Animax asked people what three robot shows they liked the most, and then posted the
top 100 results.  AEUG.Blogspot has the results in English format posted here:

MSG has the top spot.  Eva is #2 (I stalled on the fourth episode and never looked
back, so don't ask me to explain that).  Doraemon is #3.  Brain Powered is #4 (uh...).
Moving down a little, Gundam SEED barely edged out Gundam Z (#7 and #8
respectively), although I suspect SEED will go down in popularity as time passes.
One person posting on the Gundam mailing list suspected that a lot of the popularity
for SEED and Wing was due to female fans, as those two series are apparently more

popular with the ladies.  Macross is clear down at #26!?  Movies and TV series based
on the same story both turn up on the list.  An example would be the third MSG movie,
which is at #39.  Of course, the oddest result of this is that both Vandread and
Vandread Second Stage (basically the second half of the TV series) turn up on the
list - with Second Stage some distance higher.

Of course, the biggest puzzler for me is #63 - Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex
2nd Gig.
