Hi.

I was wandering around your website, following a link to it in a note posted
to tenchi@usagi.org, and found the "The Royal Trees of Jurai" page.  The
Trees are a favorite topic of mine, and play a prominent part in my fanfic,
"The Harem Saga" (http://www.tmffa.com/fanfic.html?id=484).  It required
quite a bit of research on my part which, as it turns out, was mostly wrong.
But, by the time I had discovered just how far out of whack I had gotten my
facts, the story had been posted and had acquired a bit of attention
(http://home.mchsi.com/~jlhonami/JeffsNotebook.html).  Rewriting it seemed
rather pointless.

But, back to the Trees.  Because of the accumulation of background material,
I decided that one of my future projects is to render 3-D models of as many
of the Trees as I could, whether in plastic/balsa, or digitally.  To that
effect, I have been collecting images of the Trees, as well as whatever
schematics or sketches are available.  Others (such as GenSao, Binaroid,
Vindice, and Oni-shin) have been kind enough to forward these files, and I
feel it only fitting that I offer these files in the same spirit that they
were offered to me.  Would you be interested in a copy of the material I
have accumulated to-date (NOTE: That means 40 files consuming 4.92 MB of
data)?  I would ZIP the files for transmission, of course, but it might
still choke an ISP.
