Heya,
I personally have nothing against FUNi, it was pretty much the kind of stuff
I expected from them. What they did was Americanize it to a certain extent,
added dailogue when there wasn't any, and made several irrelevent comments in
it that were not part of the original. To that extent, the dubbing script
sucks. However, I feel the voices for the dubs is decent.
The subtitles in the series though is dead-on though. They did a very good
job in that department. It's only the dubbed half that is less than par in
my book.

Hey guys. =)
I read your gripes on Funimation, and I have a few questions. I hate
Funimation, too, but only because I have..."issues" with Dragonball Z (not the
voice acting or plot changes; I couldn't care less about that. There are other
problems I have with the show). So I don't really focus on their products
because of DBZ.
So then...exactly what sucks about Funimation? Do they have horrible
VAs? Do they translate the scripts wrong? Are they cheap (crappy box art,
glitchy scene transitions, etc.)?
Bye-bye. =)

PS, I'm a huge supporter of dubs and VAs, but a lot of "purists" don't like
them. What do you think makes a good VA? And who are your favorites?
