The interface does suck balls, but once you realize that the mouse is your
enemy
it becomes a bit easier. You should become best friends with your macros and
learn all of those keyboard shortcuts. Once you have those it's a lot
smoother.
Also, the new chase cam is pretty good. Also, top players didn't play FFXI
mainly
because it doesn't support a PvP environment which is the big draw for uber
guilds and moneymakers. Although, with over 300k players it's not hurting at
all
and this month those numbers will grow since the PS2 version is being
released
and many of the EQOA guilds are moving over. I'm still kicking myself for
not
playing EQOA more. Some of those guys are making some serious bank. I saw
1 item the other day sell for almost $2000.00 on a player auction. o_O!

When WoW comes out you will see uber gaming at it's finest. PvP, loot drops,
and Blizzard equal a fun time with the potential for a fat bank account. :-)
