       To answer your question, yes, Rin is the little girl who travels 
around with Sesshomaru. A lot of people like to pair her and Sesshomaru up as 
a 
 
couple because she was the first creature he ever seemed to show kindness to. 
But 
 
of course, there are those of us (like me^^) who think that he saved her out 
of admiration (she has spunk, after all) and not affection, and he soon 
develops affections for her, but only in a big brother/fatherly sort of way.
