Alrighty, I pre-ordered Horizons: Empire of Istaria from ebgames.com and
paid for overnight shipping so I could get it today on it's official
release today. I wake up this morning to check my e-mail and see if I
got my shipping information sent to me and there is no message. I check
the website and "It's on Hold". WTF!?! Ok, I call up customer support
and get some retard who tells me my credit card was declined. Ummm, ok.
That shit shouldn't have happened so I call my bank. Credit Card is in
good standing and ebgames has charged my order to it. I call back
ebgames and get a different guy. This guy is so happy and helpful it
makes me feel like I'm fucking a JV cheerleader. :-/ Come to find out my
credit card was not declined as the previous numbnuts has said. My
shipping address was declined since it didn't match my billing address.
Ummm, ok I've ordered from these guys before with the exact same address
and always received my shit. What gives? Mr. Happy-Go-Lucky checks my
account history and sees that *every* order of mine has had the exact
same issue. They usually just call my bank and get authorization, but
hadn't gotten that far with my current order. I asked the guy why they
hadn't e-mailed me over this since it was a habitual problem and he said
they didn't contact people over this "minor" issue. I say me dropping
$300+ fucking dollars into their hands at one time and paying for
overnight shipping on most of my order and not getting it isn't a
"minor" issue to me. After he looks around he finds the issue. My bank
address uses "Rd" and I abbreviated it to "Rd." so that is the fucking
reason for my order being held back. A fucking "Period". Grrrrr..It's a
good thing that shooting people in the face is illegal or I would do it
just too much.
 
He decided to give me Overnight shipping for free on all of my order due
to the problem, but I still can't play the game until tomorrow. This
game better be worth this headache or I'm driving to Artifact
Entertainment and hitting everyone in the knee with a sledgehammer.
