The only stuff I saw was very basic missions to deliver items and pick
up items. Which just seemed very lame and clich. I didn't get to see
any go here and find this person and kill him for crimes against the
kingdom or the outer villages are being attacked by goblinoids and we
need you to rid the world of them type of quests. Those would have had
my attention. It also seemed like a lot of wide open spaces with nothing
there. Just roaming areas like Acherons Call when it first came out.

The TaruTaru I love. If I played the game I would probably make a Taru
Fighter for the hell of it. :-) It also needs more races. I had 5 people
I know who bought the game on day 1 and 3 of them have already quit. One
guy loves it and the other guy is still undecided. All are former
Evercrack junkies. Maybe I just need to sit down with the game and play
it rather than watch it. Grr...too many options. :-/

No argument about the interface. I use the keyboard to handle most of
my
actions (a coworker once joked that I typed at 200wpm before asking me
what
my actual speed was), have macros to handle some of the others, and the
rest
are fairly easy to do in the middle of a fight.

As for content...

Have you done any of the missions?

Not the quests (some of which are basic, and some of which have
cutscenes and
the whole nine yards), but the missions? Windurst in particular is
supposed
to have good missions (I'm in Bastok, mind), and the first couple of
Star
Onion Brigade quests (SOB *cough* - and the pun does pop up) are a hoot
(haven't done more than that yet).

Of course, you have to be able to put up with the evil, vile, cuteness
of the
Taru...
