EQ2 from what little I have been able to gleam seems like it might be
pretty good. *MIGHT* Improved graphics, revamped combat/magic/craft
system, reworking of drops to destroy farming, and generally faster
gameplay all have my votes of confidence. The way I look at it is that
EQ started it in realized 3D, DAoC made it better, EQ redid itself to
compete with DAoC, and now EQ2 is set to redefine the genre again. Maybe
that is a lot of hope on my part, but it seems the way of the cycle IMO.

Zenrai did look cool as shit, but very little info is around about it
anymore. It's going the way of the dodo like Charr: The Grimm fate and
Dawn. Both of which sounded pretty fucking exceptional. Grr... Rubies of
Eventide and Mythica still have my curiosity piqued.

If the graphics for ultima Online weren't so ass I bet you would love
it. Nice class system, tradeskills, intelligent and devoted players, and
assloads of content. Ultima X might be one for you to watch out for
since it's Ultima Online in a fully realized 3D setting.

You also should sign up for the Saga of Ryzom beta. It's one I have
watched for a very long time and it looks quite unique. Here is a link
to the new beta sign-up page. http://www.ryzom.com/beta2/ Anarchy
Online: Shadowlands could be your cup of tea as well, since it's a well
designed cyberpunk MMORPG. It had a shitload of problems (hacks, lag,
exploits, broken quests, etc.) at first, but it's a whole lot better now
since they fired *EVERY* member of the development team and brought in
new competent people. I think you can download it for free now and try
it for a month with no obligation. Just check out the website.

>so anyway gimme the 411 on horizons if you try it
Will do.
