I would say it's very favorable that I am gonna give it a shot. The
class system, trade skills, and world effects seem really damn cool.
I've been talking to some beta players and it seems that a lot of
content is *supposedly* not going to be revealed until launch. It also
seems that every server for beta has been testing somewhat different
stuff and with the NDA in effect a lot of stuff is still unknown. One
thing that has sparked my interest is how mobs effect the actual
environment. You could be walking across a lush countryside and all of a
sudden the sky go black, the grass and trees begin to die, and undead
start to rise from the ground. This kinda stuff happens when a higher
level member of the Withered Aegis (Evil Undead Bad Guys) wanders into
areas. The only way to remedy the situation is to kill the main guy and
everything else dies and reverts back to normal.

Mob AI is really cool in the fact that most mobs will buff, heal, rez,
debuff, and all sorts of PC-style combat actions against approaching
PC's. They even use defenses like having tanks on front, rogues sneaking
round, healers/buffers in middle, and then archers and mages in back.
Not exactly fully groundbreaking, but nice touches. It's also nice to
play a fantasy game that has no dungeons at all. :-)

while.

>charming shit heh

I'm old school enough to still love Freeport. :-)
East Commons was my home away from home. Now Bazaar rules the world and
I hate it. :-p
