Heh

Maybe this'll scare you off then...

The dungeons are designed to be done as timed "events". Your group goes in,
attempts to reach the goal, and has a time limit. If you make it, you get
points. If you don't make it, you don't get points.

So you get players who are less than competent and the added time pressure of
trying to clear the dungeon in a hurry. Everyone in the dungeon party must
be within 7 levels of everyone else (so if a friend is the wrong level, too
bad...). Anyone in a dungeon is effectively innaccessible for an hour and a
half to two hours (since that's how long the dungeons stay up for).

And finally, every last one of them wants to go to the "Mistmoore" dungeon
(not the Mistmoore you once knew and loved).

Yes, its fun, but at the same time, it can be annoying and frustrating. We
had the cleric bail on us once about halfway through a dungeon, and blew it
because of that (we found the target with a minute or so to spare and had to
pull him before we were ready. with a cleric we could have gotten there
faster, and also would have been able to survive the fight with the target).

AO has the same thing I've heard, so if you've played that, you've already
seen what the dungeons are like.

Its also similar to the boss fights in FFXI - albeit without the crawl. The
dragon battle in Mission 6 (if you played that far) is similar, except that
the Lost Dungeon is an entire crawl, whereas the dragon fight is a single
battle.
