Ok. I should have said the "Preferred" way of spelling. Why do
we say "Confucious" when that wasn't his real name? The writing methods
are not compadible, so we modify our written language to fit the spoken
sound.
If you listen to any of the English Dubbs, you distinctly hear
"Ayeka". In the Japanese dialogue, you hear "Aeka". They are still two
different languages, like "Confucious" and his real name "K'ung-fu-tzu"
[means Great Master K'ung].
"Eat a load o' that! :b 'PPppphhhhtt!" [smacking his butt]

demonstrateing this behavior.
