I suspect she could be a big part, since this is going to cover the
Choushin.  Who better but a princess of the Jurain empire (favored of
the Tree-Ships) to at least have a pivotal role.

Speaking of which, we haven't seen anything of Washu, or Tsunami
either.  But we do know they all make it through just fine (sans
Tsunami on that one, though, but since Sasami seems to be doin'
alright, I think we can believe that Tsunami's okay, too).

I'm also wondering if the fact that Funaho is rooted on Earth, might
somehow play a bigger role than just a repository of knowledge... after
all, it's presence has been a hinge-pin for several things already, and
it almost feels like there should be something more...  (Now if Washu
could cause some fertile seeds to germinate... maybe we could get a
forest and maybe a few actual ships out of it  ^_^)

Damn, there's at least 20 or so fanfics possible from those
ruminations, alone.
