OK, the others probably already answered this, but what the hell I'll throw 
my two cents in anyway.
 

First of all, Tenchi doesn't get married in the 3rd OAV.  Now Noboyuki DOES, 
the old letcher finally landed himself a girl!  Who woulda thunk it!!!!!  
Anywho, nothing much changes in his relationship with the girls except that 
something major happens brings them a little closer to one another and they 
become more of a real family.  The Goddess War perhaps!?!?!  We got a glimpse 
of Tenchi in the future in episode 17 of GXP when Seina and the girls crashed 
on Earth and stayed at the Tenchi place for a while.  The "multiple marriage" 
your probably thinking of is something else..............GXP SPOILER

It is Seina from GXP who gets married to multiple girls.  Originally it was 
four but that old sly dog Lady Seto, Aeka and Sasami's cunning and beautiful 
grandmother, arranged things and now he's got 9 wives with the bodies of 
supermodels!  A possible paring of one or more of the girls with Tenchi 
likely won't happen until OAV #4, and there is little evidence that a 4th OAV 
will not occur.
