Sammy, I know that you're looking out for fair play and civilized
behavior here on the ML, but I'm afraid you're missing a couple
years of history. Peter's been posting these theories for a while
now, asserting that we lesser humans who haven't studied Taoism
and ancient Chinese and Japanese myths in depth have no idea
about what's going on in Tenchi...all the while making basic
factual mistakes. Were he just here to post bizarre theories
and refuse to respond to criticism, I don't think any but
the newest ML members would bother responding to him...but the
way he continues to post in an "I'm so much above you, with my
knowledge of the horrible and profound truth of Tenchi" really
gets on people's nerves on a while. That, and he can't even
get his facts straight. Oh, oh, and I forgot to mention! He
never comes right out and makes a plot prediction! For years
he talked about knowing what would happen, and would lead us
on wild goose chases through all sorts of analogies between
Taoist myth and Tenchi characters...and he still couldn't
tell us what would happen. He sure as hell didn't predict
any of the substantial events in GXP, not even those that
are just indications of things that happened back in OVA 3.
Fuku? Airi? Noike? Never heard of 'em. Changing relationship
between galactic civilizations, and how that was helped
or hindered by folks back at Tenchi's house (Washu in
particular)? Nope. What about the way GXP links up with Dual?
(You know the drill).

So that's why we flame him every now and then, particularly
when we're bored. We usually don't even bother with that when
there's some sort of other activity on the ML, but since it's
otherwise dead around here right now...OTOH, if you really
don't want to see this sort of thing on the ML, the best thing
to do is to give us something else to think about (besides
another popularity contest; you know, "which Tenchi girl do
you like the most". That's kind of been overdone here, so you
won't get much of a response).
