Greetings all.  I have a question dealing with the sale of fanart.  I was 
looking around on e-Bay and found several people who were auctioning off 
drawings of anime and manga characters.  An example can be seen here:

My question is this; is it legal to sell these drawings?  I was thinking that 
these are copyrighted characters and that no one could sell likenesses of 
them.  I was curious about what the members of the mailing list think.
