I think it's the timing of the Con, it follows right after Animazement
and Anime North that can steal some of the Headlines and News worthy
stuff.  Also now everyone is gearing up for AX, so companies will hold
off stuff till then.  Sad though, A-Kon has been around before AX too
and is a rather large convention in its own right.

I wonder though if AIC will have the episodes they show subtitled?  At
least what I showed at Animazement (and probably A-kon too) were
subbed.  The only thing I think is funny is what AnimeNation said about
it at the end being if it is showed at AX, it's a pretty good chance it
will be picked up for release.  Well Duh!  It's Tenchi, Pioneer USA
probably already had the license before it was even put on TV.  ^^;
