I know that I am still thinking about that one, and want to see more. > I intend to buy it, but I don't intend to ever watch the dubbed version. I want to watch it all again with the Japanese voices, because Aya's voice is just so very, very bad. So bad that I wonder why they couldn't figure that out by now....certainly there have been enough good VAs doing anime that they should know how to choose one....not this company, I guess. Buck doesn't like to watch subtitles, he hates to have to miss what is going on on the screen...so for his sake we watched it dubbed. Shudder..... > Although I personally don't like the way it ended, > it was a very good story. I will tell you that it gets very depressing at times, > but the plot is great. So, go for it! ^_^ Disappointing ending? Well...that's no surprise. I guess since I haven't really been hooked on a series for so long, I am willing to take the chance. At least I know not to get my hopes up. > Hmm . . . I think the licensed version > is called "Ceres Celestial Legend", but I still believe "Ayashi no Ceres" is the > most proper and better suited name for the series. I barely noticed the name change, since it isn't as weird as Samurai X , but I have known about this show for a year or more as Ayashi No Ceres, so I just automatically called it that. I read translations of a couple of the Manga and got hooked that way, so I really have wanted to see it for a long time. > Besides, Ceres-sama is the second most attractive > anime woman I've ever seen . . . oh wait, you wouldn't be interested in that. ^_~ Not as a selling point, LOL! But I do appreciate the art. The animation cuts a lot of corners, but the art and character design is gorgeous. Who is the first most attractive anime woman, in your opinion??? > Well, Yuuhi is fairly attractive, and he's a good guy all around, although he > pretty much gets the crappy end of the stick. Ceres-sama is by far my favorite though.). Right now, we all love Yuuhi. He is just hilarious and I knew that he was going to be the odd man out with beautiful Touya around. Seems like he is the 'nice guy', and Touya is the mysterious hot dude. Ceres has barely surfaced, so we don't know her yet. Yeah...I gotta get this series. I think it only has three ? DVDs so far, so maybe I will just buy it slowly. Although that is frustrating if you are really into a series! > I'd love to see them paired together, but to see if that happens or not, you'll > have to watch more. *evil grin* Oh, I figure that there is no chance of that. Heaven help it if the pair you want actually get together! LOL! Oh wait, I guess I kinda got to see that with Tenchi and Ryoko.... ;-D Kath
