Has anyone ready Issac Asimov's "I, Robot" which the new Will Smith film is based on? Well, if you have read the classic sci-fi novel you will know it has little in common with the movie at all. They took the original story behind "I, Robot" and twisted it completely out of context. Dean R. Koonz's (I think I misspelled that) "The Watchers" was butchered into two different movies that took his original story which was really good and twisted it. If film makers are going to do film adaptations of novels they should try to stay as true to the original work as possible like with J.R.R. Tolken's "The Lord of Rings" triology and the "Harry Potter" novels. I know a few compromises have to be made for telling a story on film, but don't butcher the original piece of work you are using to make the film. ==== -- Michael "TheZorch" Haney zorchhaney@yahoo.com Site where you can find Anime Fan Fics by Me.
