    I don't know, but the 50-caliber Remington Sniper Rifle is a 
mainstay among the U.S. Marine Corps Snipers, so it might have been 
around in the Gulf.

    Oh yeah, If youv'e watched the Charlie Sheen movie "Navy Seals", 
yes, the big-ass Sniper rifle used there is a Remington 50.
