| | I think a CDROM would be dreaming. I dont think that such a
| | CD would be sufficiently popular to justify its manufacture,
| | even if I did donate my photo collection at no charge (Which
| | would be very unlikely - I need a new PC)
| Of course the cost of the CDROM will be included in the price
| of the magazine/book..
| Or another way is to do it the way AnimeV does its presents.
| The people who want it must send in a little ticket from the magazine
| and pay all the costs. (tape/video, postage, etc)
| | Sadly, I use slide film and my scanner doesnt do this. To scan
| | slides, I can either:
| | get the transparency adaptor: 80,000yen
| | buy the nikon coolscan: 130,000yen (35mm only)
|
| | one gets much better res. other is cheaper and at teh moment,
| | I can afford neither.
| Both are too expensive.
True, maybe if I can recoup the cost of buying the latter I
would make a 600MB directory of all the events, then someone
in the states with a CDR can mass produce it ^_^;;
Either way, if I can cover 90% of the cost of the coolscan
then I will get one. I have the disk space (yup, 1G space!)
all i need is the slide scanner and the software to do touch
up. (^_^;;)
maybe I should ask santaclaus.
