Last Saturday, after the Voogie's Angel event, I went over to the Shosen 
Book Store to wait in line to buy one of the 100 copies of Aya's new 
autobiography being sold which would come with the a ticket which would 
allow you to come to her book signing session next week.  17 hours later, 
after putting up with rain, wind, cold, darkness, and an overtalkative 
baachan, I got my book!  This has to be some kind of record for a 
non-Japanese, eh?

BTW, this book is awesome!  Aya talks about everything from the day she 
was born to how she got to where she is today.  Some many little factoids 
you'll think you've known her all your life!  (two freebies:  two of her 
favorite movies are "The Towering Inferno" and "Backdraft", and her 
favorite gaijin is Richard Gere.  :/ )  And so many pictures!  Her baby 
picture, baton girl, slumber party, and a very scary looking High School 
picture!

Pocky (and all other Aya fans), this is the biggest no-brainer buy in the 
world...(I bought another book for reading purposes.  The one she signs 
is going into a vault...)

Say, I wonder if she'll wear a wedding dress to her book signing, like 
Dennis Rodman?

(gotta go home...three days of hell in Korea, but I made it!  
Unfortunately, the trauma has left me unable to structure my thoughts 
logically anymore.  Hey, I like Kentucky Fried Chicken too!)
