Dear Sir,
I beg your pardon for disturbing you unknown, but I failed to
find the three animators whom I would like to contact.
They are: Yuni Nunokawa, Noriaki Nagai and Akira Shigino.
Their work is the app. 18 part series "Kickers" about a football
team of 12 year old boys. I am sure that this is the original title.
Maybe the 100+ part series "Mila Superstar is also their work
but this opinion is based only upon similarities in style and topic.
This particular series shows a dark view of the world through the life
of a girl playing volleyball. Maybe the original title is different.
Both series were shown on the German satellite channel RTL2 app.
one and a half ago and then again half a year ago. Both are about
20 to 25 minutes long per part.
Any help would be appreciated. My final interest would be to
contact the authors as I have an advice on what famous novel of
high artistic value they should adapt for animation.
------------------------------------------------------------
I would also be grateful if you could recommend a site where I
could find more on the relation of Japanese people (especially toon-
makers) to football. There are at least 3 series of cartoons on
football from Japan and I was truly astonished how enchanting,
powerful and talented the animation and storytelling of "Kickers"
was.
I beg your pardon for disturbing you. your address was found by
the http://www.altavista.digital.com/ search engine on the apropo of
the Kitty Animation Club.
Yours faithfully:
Tamas Feher
