As women have stopped getting married, and so not dropping out of the
work force, the number of older OL has increased. There is also an
increasing number of married women returning to, or never leaving, the work
force.

So there is a full age range of OL :). The young OL just get the vast
majority of the attention.  You will notice that the link provided on
the wikipeida page is 20 years old.
