Very sad indeed.  I have quite a few systems named after Kuramitsu
Mihoshi, and have been to Bisei-chou, where the name Mihoshi was based
on.  In the planetary there, Mizutani Youko's star-shaped ema were on
displayed.  Apparently she had been there at least 3 times.

I do not think she is that well known.  IMHO, the NHK report was
solely due to her regular role in Chibi Maruko-chan.
