The current event in Love Live School Idol Festival
is a new event called Challenge Festival.
It's very similar to the Medley Festival, in that one event
is multi-song (between 1 and 5 songs).
But unlike the Medley Festival, you can choose to give up or
change your team after each song.
The difficulty of the songs keep going up with each song.
As with the Medley Festival, there are options you can buy
to add more points, or assist your game.
Also there is also a "friend" assist, but unlike the
Medley Festival there are a maximum of three per song.
The current cutoffs for the score prizes are the same as the
Medley Festival, 25000 for the first SR card.
But the current scores are very high.
The cutoff for the 2nd SR will probably be over 100,000.
It's definitely easier to get a higher score (per LP)
in the Challenge Festival than the Medley Festival.
Right now I'm just playing the EX challenge.
The first two songs are pretty easy, and I can get a S score
almost every time. The 3rd song is sometimes hard, sometimes
doable. The 4th song is almost always impossible for me.
The points you get go up with each song, so it's better to
keep going if you can do the song.
I calculated the expected base points (when always buying the
1.1 point up option). This assumes no combo bonus.
D C B A S
song1 331 347 364 380 397
song2 352 370 387 404 422
song3 373 392 410 429 448
Looking at this data, it's better to keep playing the 3rd
song as long as I can get at least a B score.
6 games
S S / S S / S S = 2457
S S B / S S B = 2458
But at the very end of the event, if I only have time for 4 games
the points become as follows.
S S / S S = 1638
S S A / S = 1645
S S B / S = 1626
So playing 2 two song events is better than playing a three song
and one song if I can't get A or better on the third song.
