Matsurai-san's parents has announced in her blog that the name of the
disease causing her death was "Chronic Active Epstein-Barr Virus
infection : CAEBV", which in this point in time has no cure, causing
Malignant Lymphoma.

She was hospitalized on 30 June, was temporarily allowed to go back
home on 04 Sep, hospitalized again on 18 Sep, and passed away at
22:18, 27 Oct 2015.

Previously, Matsurai-san is not a friend of Gotou "strong" Yuuko.
During her stay in the hospital, she tried to seek help from Gotou as
Gotou was having similar but different disease and was hospitalized
many many times (she designed her own tomb stone already), with the
worst time between 2012 and 2014 where she spent most of the time in
hospital.  They connected and became friends, and Gotou spent many
days visiting Matsurai-san in her last weeks....

31 Oct and 01 Nov were the days of the event "Day of Tamayura 2015".
The event was held in Takahara-shi Hiroshima-ken.  Matsurai-san has a
role in the series, and she was born in the adjacent city, Kure-shi,
so she usually participate Tamayura events held in Hiroshima.

Her death was not announced until 02 Nov, so some of the seiyuu in the
event did not know the news yet, except her close friend Asumi Kana.
Some how, Iguchi Yuka and Gibu Yuuko got the news and they discussed
and decided not to let the zachou (lead actor/actress) of the event,
in this case Taketatsu Ayana, know during the 2 days of the event.

The day after the event, Taketatsu tweeted demanding to know why only
she did not know the news.  Ogata Emi stepped in and thanks her for
her effort on giving the audience a good time.....
