Better than expected. But then again I like Angel Beats.

To me this is the best series this season.

Didn't watch this one.

I on the other hand think the portrayal of the Japanese and international politics
there is stupid.
The author has a better grasp of the military side and should have stuck to the gate
side more.
The sequence with the Japanese diet and the American president and Chinese president
should
have been cut by an editor back when it's still a webnovel and replaced with more
scenes of the
gate side.

The author's attempt to portray politics is bad enough that it's a big minus to an
otherwise interesting
show. Heck, I find Outbreak Company: Moeru Shinryakusha to have a better portrayal
of earth
politics.

This one is quite fun. I actually tracked down a fan-translation of the novel series
and found it
to be better than the anime, as the novel explains a lot more of what the characters
think.

Watched first episode. Not my thing.

I watched the OVA back in the day. Would like to see the whole manga series turned
into anime.
