The only problem iPads and iPhones have is since iOS 8, it seems like it’s
more likely for a background process to interrupt playing slightly. For me, it doesn’t
happen often and the severity differs from a microsecond blip to lag for 1
sec and it usually only happens once per playing session (if it happens at all). It
seems to hit my friends a little more frequently. But this is an OS issue of some
sort and not a hardware issue, since it was perfectly fine in iOS 7.
