|Just watched this episode an hour ago.  Sad anime always made me cry.

Only other time I have really shed a tear was a certain moment in
K-On of all things, but it's a very powerful scene that I am talking
about in that show. This Monogatari episode made me cry and I
am still feeling it 12+ hours afterward it. So well done on the screen
imo to have such an emotional impact like that.

|I understand that Mayoi made the correct choice but it is still very
|sad, especially after Rararagi's willingness to get lost for the next
|decades.

She pointed out well why he couldn't do that with her. A very nice
decision on her part, but one that will resonate for quite awhile. I
am hoping we get to see her again in the Koyomi Arc next year. The
end where he mentions he never got to say goodbye hit me again
and leads me to believe they'll at least get a moment in the future.

|The bridge in the middle of the lake is quite nice.  Needs to check if
|it is based on a real location.

I would be very interested in that as well.
