It would have been nice if at least someone had won in the end.
And agreed that Fushimi made no sense by destroying almost
every single character in the show. Saori is the only one who
wound up with character progression in the end as she made
up with Kaori. Pretty much every other Main or Strong Support
cast member was destroyed or beat down in some fashion. I
guess that I can count Sena and Kaede as having progression
as well since they established a relationship even if we saw
nothing in it basically.
