Slow work at the moment is giving me some time catch up on shows I
have in queue and really investigate this season. Our recent National
Holiday allowed for more play time. =)

|Yes, quite depressing.  I will give it a couple of episodes' time
|before dropping it.

Yeah, I went ahead and read some of the manga to see how it may
progress and decided it was not for me.

|[Monogatari Second Season]
|As with my comment on previous series, too many dialogues to my liking.

I can completely understand. At times I have to rewind to catch things I
couldn't keep up with. Plus, the hidden cels make me watch in Step Mode
so I can catch single frames. So much hidden stuff in the series.

|[Genshiken Nidaime]
|Since I like the manga so much, I doubt the anime can reach that
|standard.  The first episode is ok so far.  Too bad they changed all
|the casts from the previous series, especially Rararame (^_^).  I
|suspect the reason behind was triggered by the condition of
|Gotou(Strong).

I am giving it the benefit of the doubt at the moment, but I know what
you mean. As for Gotou I am hopeful she will do well since Lupus is
solidly treatable these days.

|Sue's Shinobu (monogatari series) cosplay is spot on !

I almost fell out of my chair when she did the Hachikuji skit with
"Rararame-san.". Then Chika walked in and Shinobu was sitting
in the corner. I had to do a double-take for a second. So awesome.

|[Kiniro Mosaic]
|Yes, the first episode definitely gives out Ikoku Meiro no Croisee
|feel.  Let's see where it will go after they changed the location back
|to Japan.

I've seen it likened to the K-On! Movie as well, but I expect it to become
a basic SoL school anime. The usage of English in the show has been
some of the best I have ever heard in an anime. I am wagering they
worked a lot on that aspect. Some small pronunciation issues and in
the sentence structure, but still done quite well. A+

|[Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai: Megami-Hen]
|After 2 series, I do not think I want to continue watching, so I
|dropped it.  Too repetitive for me.

It's hard to say much on the Megami Arc without spoilers, but
I would say give it a chance. This is because it actually moves
away from the previous story pacing and style. Just the first
episode will let you see how things are going to transition.

|[Stella Jogakuin Koutou-ka C3-bu]
|I followed both manga series, so I will follow the anime.  Girls with 
guns.....

The manga is not here in the states and scanlations of it have only recently
started so I have only read the first two chapters. I have offered to help 
the
group that is working on the manga so we'll see if that happens. Raws are
still awkward to get and they are using Chinese translations at the moment
to transition it to English. I am very interested in this one.

|It is Working! set in another situation, so the feel is the same.

Main difference is that so far they don't have the rich cast that Working!!
does so I am hopeful for more interesting people popping up. Yamada is
such a sweetheart.^^ Lucy makes me quite happy at the moment though
in SxS.

|[Tamayura - More Aggressive]
|Kuukikei genre - the plot goes no where. But it is location hunt
|friendly.  Most likely I will go to Takehara again later this year.

Yeah, I do feel the photo aspect in it was done well, but just like Photo
Kano (Granted it's more Gravure style.) I just became more and more
indifferent to it.

|[Gen'ei o Kakeru Taiyou - Il Sole Penetra le Illusioni]
|It was been a long time since Maita got the lead role, and got 2 in
|the same season !  And both are Mahou Shoujo !

Yeah, that is very cool. I just can't bring myself to give Fate more
of a chance since it just feels so "Paint By Numbers".

|Location-wise on first episode : same as Tamako Market !  And some of
|K-ON's are quite near.  I am now quite familiar with that part of
|Kyoto.  That means I can claim finishing the location hunt without
|going there again !

Haha, there is a reason for you to give it a chance. Maybe I would be
more inclined if in the same situation.

|Anyway, human has the power of a tengu ?  Strange.  Looking forward to
|see Onee-chan's Takarazuka-fuu engi in the next episode.

The Tengu aspect was definitely odd. Especially since Benten wasn't the
first to have it. I've seen other stuff about her and possible 
representations
in the show, but if they are true it'll be strange since I've gone through
those stories in the Guild Wars video games. The Tengu are separated into
5 different tribes and are held in high regard within the game along with 
the
Lucky Gods and such since an entire continent in the games are based on
Asian history and folklore.
