|he original work is a lite novel series, both the anime
|and manga are based on the lite novel. (Oreimo)

This I did know. I was introduced to the series
somewhere around 4 years ago or so. Even the
OreKou manga is based on the novels somewhat.

|The last lite novel volume will be released in June.
|The current season anime will be 15 episodes long
|(12 TV + 3 later, similar to last season), and will
|cover to the final chapter of the lite novel. So there
|will not be an another season.

Yeah, Season 1 was 12+4 and Season 2 is slated for
13+3. So both will be 16 episode seasons if all goes
according to plan. Although, I will be very surpirsed
if they actually do completely end the series. It is far
too popular right now and I can see them reworking
OreKou (Since it was put on hold to focus on Oreimo)
as a continuation or true spin-off. If they do intend to
end it with the final 3 ONA's, then I really think the
show will wind up rushing through content in the
next 9 eps which will be painful to see. Sucks trying
to give a general opinion on this so I can avoid the
usage of spoilers. Ah well, I shall enjoy it as long as
it lasts. =) I do know that Tsukasa Fushimi is working
on another series, but I cannot remember the name
right now.
