One surprise hit for this season is Namiuchigiwa no Muromi-san.
This is a 15 minute late night short anime, and it's very funny.
It's about mermaids and other sea creatures that come up and
talk to a boy who had been fishing.  The sea creatures all talk
with an accent, and the dialogue is very funny.
The cast is pretty good with Tamura Yukari playing the main character.
Nonaka Ai is in a minor role, but her character appears a lot.
It's been a while since Ai has had a good role.  Her character is cute.

It happens that there was a photo article in Shounen Magazine for
Muromi-san this month.
I just took some pics with my iphone while waiting for a hair cut,
so I couldn't get clean scans.
