Same in Akiba. Reports said people keep going to the site to offer
flowers, bottled drinks, sandwiches, and even anime cels (Gundam ones,
to be precise) on the 14th and 15th (the day that Akiba's chuou-douri's
car traffic does not stand still in the afternoon). Most of them are
people connected to the place, not family/friends.
One report even showed a maid leader a prayer in front of Softmap.
The reports also said there are many police on site : one every eight
meters.
