From what I saw on the charts, some parts of Tokyo did experience intensity

shockwaves, quite amazing, given the distance of the quake.
I remember being in a chinese restaurant with (I think) Stephen Lee at the
time
of the Niigata earthquake, and everything shook quite a bit, but people rem
ained
calm. Little did we know how far away the real epicentre was until I got to
a TV
later in the evening...
