31 anime titles' (e.g. Chibi-Maruko-chan) seiyuu, totalling 360, 
launched a law suit against the video release companies who 
refused to pay anything to seiyuu for video release, as they 
maintained that the seiyuu fee they paid already covered those
of TV broadcast AND video release.  The disputed value is around
87,000,000 yen.  The law suit started in 2000.02.

On 2004.08.25, high court ruled that seiyuu wins and the related
video release companies should pay all the requested money.
