They have normal compact digicams.
But in general, I saw quite a few cosplayers taking pics with cell phones.
Today's cell phones are better than yesterday's digicams anyway..
(and they cost more too)

Most common (if you include non-cosplayers) was the digital SLRs,
then cheap compact digicams, then cell phones, then high-end compact
digicams, then film cameras.

Mizuno Saya has her own songs for Famires Senshi Pudding,
but all the other girls don't have any of their own songs.
They just sing other people's (usually jpop) songs.
