-ki is quite ambiguous. Hideki is male, and Miki is also a lot of the times
male.
However, "-ko" is just about always a female name. The exception being when it
ends in "-hiko", as that is a different kanji from "-ko".

Do not assume anything on names. Quite a few japanese names can be both male
and female! ^_^
