When I switched to digital with the D30 back in December 2001,
I though that the D30 was the biggest piece of shit camera that
ever existed.  But my only regret is that I didn't switch sooner.

I took around 200 rolls of film in early 2001.  I wish I had
done that with the D30..

My digital cameras..

  D30  300,000 yen  Dec 2001, 12000 photos
  D60  250,000 yen  Aug 2002, 16000 photos and still going
  10D  200,000 yen  Mar 2003,  8500 photos and still going

I sold the D30 for 60,000 yen in March 2003.
I also sold my film cameras, EOS 1NHS and EOS 7, so I am 100% digital.

In addition to the cameras, I've bought many new lenses and LOTs of
compact flash cards.  Still need to buy one more GB.
