An unexpected event..

This really doesn't belong in the seiyuu ML (^_^;
but it's the closest thing..  Maybe one of these girls will
become a seiyuu later on. (^_^;


Yesterday (3/10) I went to Shinjuku to shop and was just
walking around in front of Alta when I saw a small crowd
of otaku-like people.. idol otaku.
I went to take a look, and I found out that the new idol
group Love Marines  and Quarter and Pochi were going to do
a live on the street.

(for those who don't know, they close off the street on Sundays
to there is no traffic.)

The group Quarter (made up of 9 girls but only 7 were there)
sang first.  They sang three songs.  The girls were all wearing
red or black street clothes.

Then one girl (Pochi) played a guitar and sang a song.

The final performer was Love Marines, an idol group made up of 12 girls
(but only 10 of them were there).
Half of the girls wore red sailor fuku, and the other half wore
white sailor fuku.  They stood out a lot on the Shinjuku street. (^_^;

Love Marines had just released a maxi-single on 2/21, and they
sang three songs.  After the song, they tried to sell their
signed CDs to the people on the street.

Luckily I was carrying my camera (but only had the 50mm F1.4 lens),
so I took pics.  Just took around 220 pics. (^_^;

They were also selling tickets to an Idol event on 3/21.
Love Marines will appear, along with P-chicks, Tokyo Mew Mew,
and Kushi Yoshi (half of Ace File).  I would have bought tickets
to that if they allowed pics, but I don't think they do.

Some comments..  these girls are around 17 to 18 years old.
But they don't look too cute.  If there were some cute girls,
I would easily have taken a couple hundred more pics. (^_^;

I did see some former Kira Melo fans in the crowd..
I guess some of them have moved on to Love Marines.
