Since this thread is semi-J-pop related, here's a little something I learned
after watching Music Station (it was aired on August 8, I believe). One of
the guests was Aiuchi Rina. Rina's singing voice is a very deep (and pretty)
voice, but when she talks, she has a very childish voice. The male host
asked if Rina had ever considered being a seiyuu, and Rina said that she had
admired seiyuu when she was young, and even auditioned... I think she said
she also went to a seiyuu training school? However, Rina's mother told her
to drop out because she said that Rina would not get a great job as a seiyuu,
so Rina turned to singing...
