Although this event took place on December 23 and 24, 2000, it was
called Jump Festa 2001. This event was free, and open to the public. 

On 12/23, I arrived at Makuhari Messe at around 7:00, thinking that it
wouldn't be too bad (crowd wise). I was wrong. It was very crowded,
mostly with grade school and junior high school kids. I thought that I
would be in for very bad wait.. 

But it turned out that there were two lines. One for the main entrace,
and one for the goods. There were over 10,000 people in line for the
goods (as the line of people wound around the Makuhari Messe
building). But there were only about 1000 people lined up for the main
entrance. So I wasn't in such a bad position after all. Also instead
of letting in at 9:00, they let in at 8:30 because of the crowd. 

After I got in, I headed directly for the Banpresto booth, where there
were only a few people (all of them my friends), and stayed there the
whole day. Nagai Nobuko, Tsuchiya Mieko, and Sawai Natsumi were going
to be the emcee girls at the Banpresto booth on 12/23. Takahira Jun,
Shintani Sayaka, and Minano Fuuko were going to be the emcee girls on
12/24.

Nagai Nobuko was wearing an orange and white checkered, short sleeve
sweater top, a short orange mini skirt, and white boots. Tsuchiya
Mieko was wearing a blue and white checkered, short sleeve sweater
top, a short blue mini skirt, and white boots. Sawai Natsumi was
wearing a pink and white checkered, short sleeve sweater top, a short
pink mini skirt, and white boots when she was doing the narration. But
for the Live stage, Natsumi wore a yellow sweater top and long blue
skirt. 

Super Robo Pinball
------------------
This was a 15 minute stage where Nobuko and Mieko introduced the
Super Robot Pinball Game. There was also a game battle between two
people who were brought up onto the stage. The
winner got a present. Most of the participants were kids. 

One Piece
---------
This was a 30 minute stage where Nobuko and Mieko introduced the
One Piece game and goods. Then at the end of the stage,
Kitadani Hiroshi came to sing the old opening song to One Piece, We
Are. 

Super Characters Live
---------------------
This was a 45 minute stage with songs by Kageyama Hironobu,
Kitadani Hiroshi (singer), and Sawai Natsumi. The songs were:

  * We Are (Kitadani Hiroshi) [old opening to One Piece] 
  * Getter Robo (Kageyama Hironobu) 
  * ? (Kitadani Hiroshi) [One Piece song] 
  * Hagane no Messiah (Kageyama Hironobu) [Super Robo Alpha Gaiden] 
  * Soldier Dream (Kageyama Hironobu) [Saint Seiya] 
  * Toki wo Koete (Kageyama Hironobu, Kitadani Hiroshi, Sawai Natsumi)
    [Super Robo ?] 
  * Cha La Head Cha La (Kageyama Hironobu, Kitadani Hiroshi, Sawai
    Natsumi) [Dragonball] 
    
For the final stage, Nagai Nobuko and Tsuchiya Mieko also came out to
sing Cha La Head Cha La. Actually they didn't know the song, so they
didn't sing much. They just danced around looking cute.
