The programmers didnt make an encoder either... they just used the one
built-in to windoze.

there won't be a non-m$-encoder because m$ won't allow it. they've
already smacked down people who have tried to make free ones.

please, just use real multi-platform open international standards -
mpeg1/mpeg2.
