subject [event] Daisuki event at Yamagiwa Yokohama

Summary
-------
There was an event for the Kira Kira Melody Gakuen CD "Daisuki"
at the Yamagiwa store in Kannai (Yokohama).
A table was set up at the front of the store, very close to the entrance,
and the five Kira Melo girls sat there, wearing their school uniforms.
The girls who participated were (from left to right):
Takahira Jun, Asano Masumi, Shintani Sayaka, Tsuchiya Mieko, Nagai Nobuko.

Those who bought the Daisuki CD at the Yamagiwa store got a signed poster
(signed by all five of them on the spot), and got to shake hands with
each one of the girls.

Details
-------
I got to the store at around 15:00, but there wasn't anybody (Kira Melo
fans) there. I bought one CD and got a ticket for the signing session.

After meeting up with Richard at Kannai Station, we went back to Yamagiwa
to get a CD for Richard (around 15:30). A couple of my friends had shown
up, and were standing in front of the store.

The event started a few minutes late (past 17:00), but there were only
about 30 fans there.
[There was also another Daisuki event in Ikebukuro at the same time,
so this made the fans split up (pretty evenly).]

The girls came walking through the store in the school uniforms,
and after a short self introduction, they sat down at the table
for the signing session.

The fans lined up and everyone went up one by one to get the signatures
and handshakes.

They allowed people who bought more than one CD to go again,
so I bought two CDs and went twice.
The line moved along quickly at first, but after a while the pace
became very slow as the fans started talking to the girls longer
(and the girls started to write longer messages on the posters).

The girls took a 10 minute break at around 18:20. By then most people
were on their second CD, and the total number of people at the event
was close to 50.

The girls also sang "Daisuki" at 18:50 (an unexpected surprise).

The signing session continued until 19:20 or so, and at the end,
the girls said a farewell message.
I think several people had gotten three CDs.

Fun stuff (^_^;
---------------
I gave Nagai Nobuko a Miffy photo album full of pictures (64) from
the Sancha Festival.
[now I have to reprint them, as I don't have them for myself..]

This was Richard's first "real" event after coming back to Japan!
He had caught the tail end of the Kira Melo event on 7/30,
and was slightly interested in Takahira Jun. But after this event,
he became interested in Shintani Sayaka. Richard will be going to
a few more Kira Melo events this week and next.. (^_^;
