... go to an AIC recording session ^_^;

A friend of mine recently visited Tokyo. He knew an AIC employee, so
during his visit he was treated to a visit to an AIC recording session.
(Those of you who know who I'm talking about, please don't say. He wants
to remain private. He OK'd me sharing his account with the mailing list
on the condition he remain anonymous ^_^)

He arrived at the recording studio as a visitor (so he thought ^_^;)
They were recording the new AIC anime Kacho-Ohji, episode 10.

They gave him a copy of the script. Apparently, one of the characters in
the episode was to speak english. He thought they wanted him to check the
"engrish grammar" ^_^ but they actually wanted him to write the part ^_^!

His account, verbatim:

"The main character is walking around downtown manhattan (wearing
a t-shirt that says "fuck you" by the way). He sees a fish store with live
lobsters, and for some stupid reason he puts his hand in and it bites him.
So he's looking at his middle finger when a big mean guy walks by and
thinks he's giving him the finger.

Then, I say something like "hey, you got a fucking problem?"
He says something back in japanese

Then I said something like, "I'll knock your head off, you dumbass
tourist", the he gets punched, and he's all confused and shows him the
finger again.

Then I said something like, "so you want more? say hi to the people
in jersey for me", and he gets swung around and thrown through a sign.

I wrote the whole thing, they had no idea what he was going to say."
