In Japanese seiyuu history, it is generally considered that there is 3 to
4 seiyuu boom periods. The current (or recent, if you think it has wind
down already) one started around 5 years ago. During this period, many
seiyuu released their own song albums, essay collections, photo album,
radio-CD, and form performance groups e.g. Hummingbird, Beachhips, Furils,
GFC, Osakana Peguin, EMU, Weib, Girls be, etc. Plays, concerts, live
events were held all over Japan.
