The game is NOT the same as on the PCE. (My friend assured me this, he has s
een both versions.)

The basic story setup:
You live on the planet NeoKenya, apparently a former Earth colony. It has so
me pretty dangerous wildlife, and you play Ken, one of the planet's "Rangers
". The year is 1991, and a message arrived from "God" telling the inhabitant
s that the planet will be hit by a meteor in 8 years, wiping out all life. A
s well as the message, a giant Ark appears in one of the deserts, operated b
y robots and (apparently) capable of space travel. Your job is to collect an
imals by two (well duh) before the deadline. You will be "Noah" and your wif
e will be Linda, a girl you grew up with (tomboy to the gills, but cute with
 Minami's voice). ^_^

On top of the basic setup, the three stories you can play pitch some nasty o
pposition against you, involving kidnapping, mind control, gene manipulation
, etc. It's not for the squeamish, some of the video sequences are probably
at the borderline of what Sony would allow from a violence content PoV. The
first story revolves heavily around the theme of Xmas... In fact, you'll nev
er be able to listen to "Jingle Bells" without a cold shiver running down yo
ur spine. (There's a village full of Santas, and a very eerie version of tha
t song plays all over town...) ^_^

In any case, highly recommended, I've spent a lot of time playing this game.
(Usually, when I get stuck in japanese games, I usually abandon them, since
 I don't have a lot of spare time. ^_^)

True.

He has a fairly small role, mostly in the second story.
