Shiina Hekiru's new CD Single "Kono Yo de Ichiban Taisetsu na Mono" will be
released on 11/26/98.
This song was one of the 3 new songs that she sang during this summer's tour.

The coupling song is "Ganbare" (lyrics cowritten by Hekiru).

The first press CDS comes with a special card. There are 3 different types.
(I can see a very disturbing premonition of rampant CDS buying,
unfortunately applying to myself.)

"Kono Yo de Ichiban Taisetsu na Mono" (man, I wish they had chosen a
shorter name, it certainly took them long enough to decide) is also the
ending theme for the Nihon Telebi Kei program "Sports Urugusu" that
broadcasts on Sat 23:45-24:25 and Sun 23:45-24:15.

Her new album will go on sale in January 1999. Recording is almost complete.

Her new winter tour Starting Legend '99 has been set. It will be a
nation-wide tour. The schedule will be announced shortly. (It will begin
early February in Sapporo, according to some unofficial sources.)

Hekiru will be releasing only 2 singles between her last album and her new
one. That seems a little low. ;_;

Hekiru's 3 year-running radio program on TBS Radio "Suppin Smile" ended
last week. ;_; It was Monday to Friday. I'm going to miss it badly. I
already do.

She also attended her last broadcast of "Something Dreams Multimedia
Countdown" on Bunka Housou, co-hosted with Tominaga Miina. She had been on
the program for 3 and a half years. The program will continue with new
co-hosts.

Her other radio program "Shiina Hekiru no Miracle Browser" on Tokyo FM
ended 2 weeks ago, but it was replaced by "The Hekilision" in the same time
slot. (Thursdays 25:15-26:00)

Hekiru only has one radio show now. ;_;

But she has a side character role in the new anime "Sorcerous Stabber
Orphen" as Dochin, a little boy with big think glasses (!). I think it is
the only male role she has played aside from Rockman. Her voice sounds
quite different and I think it fits well, also it is also a depressing
reminder of how low it has become due to all the punishment it took from
performing 130 concerts.
